MangaRead Reader is a local, offline-first manga and comic reader.

Data Collection

MangaRead Reader does not require an account and does not collect personal data.

Your library, imported files, reading history, reading progress, settings, downloads, and backups are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

Tracking

MangaRead Reader does not track users across apps or websites.

Content

MangaRead Reader does not include, bundle, or preload manga or comic content. Users are responsible for importing or accessing content they have the right to use.

Optional Permissions

The app may request device permissions only for user-facing features:

• Files or photo access when you choose files to import or export.
• Notifications when you choose to receive saved-title update alerts.
• Face ID or device authentication when you enable app lock.
