Murim Life Simulator ("the App", "we") is a life simulation game set in a martial arts world: you live one life at a time, year by year, make choices, and are reborn with what you remember. This policy explains what information the App handles. By using the App you agree to it.
The App has no sign-up and no login. We do not ask for or collect your email address, phone number, contacts, location or photos. The App asks you to choose a name for your character; this name stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Your game progress (your current life, past lives, karma, regressor's memories, achievements and records, your character's name and chosen title) and your settings (sound, music) are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us and are deleted when you uninstall the App.
To understand how the game is played and improve it, the App uses Google Analytics for Firebase. It records anonymous usage events such as app opens, lives started and ended, realms reached, breakthroughs, achievements earned, and whether an optional ad was watched, together with basic technical information (app version, device model, operating system, language, and approximate country derived from your IP address). This data is identified by a random app-instance ID, is not linked to your identity, and is used only for statistics. Google processes it as our service provider: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
The App is free, has nothing for sale, and is funded by ads from Google AdMob. The App may show an ad when it opens, and occasionally a full-screen ad at a natural break (after several years of a life have passed, or when a life ends). You can also choose to watch optional rewarded ads, for example to be born again with a different start, to undo a failed breakthrough, or to earn extra karma. If no ad is available, you receive the reward anyway.
Google AdMob and its partners may collect and process, under their own policies, your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), device and app information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interaction data, to show ads, limit repetition, measure performance and prevent fraud.
With your permission (asked once, when your first life ends), the App schedules one optional evening reminder on your device, carrying that day's Murim Rumour or Daily Challenge. These are local notifications created by the App itself: no push server is involved and nothing is sent to us. You can turn reminders off in the App's Settings or in your device's notification settings.
The App contains fantasy violence (duels, bandits, sect wars) and is intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Ads in the App are configured as not child-directed.
We do not operate servers that store your data. Game progress stays on your device until you delete the App. Analytics data is kept by Google for at most 14 months and then deleted automatically.
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
